Broken To Restored.

“In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.” 1 Peter‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭

When we break something often it never works and looks the same again. We try to restore it to the best of our ability, but sometimes it's not like it was initially. It's like breaking a plate and trying to glue it back together, it's never going to be the same, even if we try. See when God restores us He doesn't glue us back together like a shattered plate, instead, He restores us like it never happened. When God restored Job, He didn't only restore him The Bible says that God gave Him back double what He had before. Don't spend so much time wondering if what you lose is better than what God has next for you, God doesn't take us from the pit to put us in another one, He takes us from the pit to the palace like with Joesph. When God restores what the enemy has tried to steal from you it's better than what you had before. Joesph was thrown into a pit, but when he became second in command he even helped his family, God put him second in command and gave him his family back. Don't underestimate God. He doesn't use glue to mend us back together, instead, He makes it as though it never broke in the first place and adds more to it. Today, whatever is broken in your life God will restore it, and when He does look at what was broken and notice how it's even better than before. Keep on praying for that restoration because God can and will do it! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.” Psalms‬ ‭51:12‬ ‭ “When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes. In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before!” Job‬ ‭42:10‬ ‭ “So the Lord blessed Job in the second half of his life even more than in the beginning. For now he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 teams of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.” Job‬ ‭42:12‬ ‭ “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.”Genesis‬ ‭50:20‬ ‭
