Fully Seek God.

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭

I hear a lot of people say, "But first coffee." Drinking coffee isn't a sin or something I'm saying is, but the first thing we should do in the mornings is pray. It should be but first Jesus. See when we start our day with God, keep Him in the middle of our day, and finish our day with God that shows that God is our priority. In today's day and age, the world wants us to fill ourselves with worldly things to the point of us forgetting that we need God until things aren't good in life. A relationship with God isn't praying when you need something from Him, He is our friend and our Father, He is not a genie. If our friends only wanted something to do with us when they needed something from us or needed something in general then they wouldn't be very good friends, that isn't the kind of friend anyone wants to have around. God doesn't want a relationship that depends on when things are rough, He wants a committed daily all-day relationship with us. Today, make sure God is first and other things find their place in your life, not the other way around. God is the most important person in our lives and deserves our full attention and us to be fully committed to making sure we work on that relationship with Him every day. You cannot learn more about God if you're too busy chasing the world. God is first and foremost and He is a jealous God. He wants to be first in all aspects not just when it benefits you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “You must worship no other gods, for the Lord, whose very name is Jealous, is a God who is jealous about his relationship with you.” Exodus‬ ‭34:14‬ ‭ ““The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field.” Matthew‬ ‭13:44‬ ‭ “God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church.” Ephesians‬ ‭1:22‬ ‭ ““You must not have any other god but me.” Exodus‬ ‭20:3‬ ‭
