More Than You Expect.

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭

God's plans exceed your expectations. Faith is believing without seeing, but God knows we cannot imagine the beautiful things He has planned for us. The Bible says His thoughts are not our thoughts. He knows that our expectations are minimal compared to His plan for us. It doesn't matter how we imagine it to turn out, what matters is that we trust God to make it right. We can only expect so much with our human minds, and that's okay, but we have to have enough faith that God will do exceedingly and abundantly more than we ask or think as the Bible says. Stop letting your expectations make you doubt what you know God can and will do for you. The time you spend focused on what you know to be true, what God is going to do is never a waste of time. If you put everything that you're praying for in a notebook eventually you will be able to write the answer to those prayers down, whether it be that God fixes it, says no, not now, or yes and answers it. Today, find time to remind yourself that the things you're praying over are nothing in the hands of God, when He answers those prayers it will be better than you're expecting. When has God ever let you down? Never. Even when God says no He is still a good Father, and He is still good to us. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:8‬ ‭“We cannot imagine the power of the Almighty; but even though he is just and righteous, he does not destroy us.” Job‬ ‭37:23‬ ‭ “For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:9‬ ‭ “The Lord knows people’s thoughts; he knows they are worthless!” Psalms‬ ‭94:11‬ ‭
