No Better Than.

“Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭

You can be an expert in everything in life but if you don't love others it means nothing. You can be the best at everything but what others respect is when you're kind and loving to them.  See being everything, and knowing everything means nothing if you're not loving towards others. No one wants to be around a know it all because it makes them feel less. If you're great in everything and act like it then it isn't right, the Bible says that we should think of others as better than ourselves. It's okay to know we're good at something but it is a different story to act like we're good at everything. It's okay to not be good at everything. What God calls you to do you will be good at but you need to be humble with it. Jesus was not only good at everything He also knew everything, literally. He didn't tell everyone that He was better than them and act as He was, if that were how it was He would not have died a criminal's death after living a life of no sin. You should always think of others as equal to you, not you being better than them. Today, make sure you are treating those around you as if they are the same as you, not less than you. God appreciates how we love others, He wants us to do so. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:3‬ ‭“Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.” Philippians‬ ‭2:4‬ ‭ “If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see?” 1 John‬ ‭4:20‬ ‭ “If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:2‬ ‭
