The Fire In Your Soul.

“And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?” Mark‬ ‭8‬:‭36‬ ‭

Don't let your fire burn out for God just because of the water the enemy hands to you. The enemy doesn't want the fire that you have for God to continue, he will hand you water in the form of doubt, hurt, brokenness, betrayal, lies, deceit, insecurities and so many more things. You can let the enemy burn that fire out with you but it will destroy your soul. I watched a video of someone telling how they gave their life to God, the person said, "My worst day with God is better than my best day in the world." Don't let the enemy fool you with his lies, he has been trying to take our souls since the beginning of time when he tempted Eve into eating from the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. He wants you to fall away from God and live for the world so that one day your eternity can be as miserable as he is in hell today. One day Jesus will return and take the keys away and the enemy won't be able to tempt us after that, but that's only if we let that fire inside of us take control and we then live for God, have faith when we cannot see, love beyond measures and when it's hard and to honor His will for us. Today, make sure you're fueling the fire for God by reading His word, spending time in prayer, letting Him guide your steps, and being all that God has called you to be. When the enemy tries to make you burn out that fire in your soul then remind him of the God you serve and how his lies cannot get to you. Just because he is miserable for all of eternity doesn't mean that you have to be. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭16‬:‭26‬ ‭ “I am the living one. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave.” Revelation‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬ ‭ “When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.”Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭12‬ ‭ “And the last enemy to be destroyed is death.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭26‬ ‭
