The Same God Forever.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”Hebrews‬ ‭13:8‬ ‭

We all have read about the miraculous stories in the Bible of the miracles, signs, and wonders God has done. We oftentimes are discouraged by how life is going and how we have seen God work in the Bible. The Bible says that God was the same yesterday, today, and forever! You don't have to look at the Bible and wonder if God can do now what He could do then. You are more than able to have the same miracles, signs, and wonders from God today as they did in the Bible. Don't doubt in worry, stress, and discouragement the things you know God can do in your faith. Your faith is stronger than the emotions you feel. Your faith is what makes the things you need and want to happen. Think of the story in the Bible of the woman who touched Jesus' robe and was healed because of her faith. That still exists today, Jesus is not here in human form, His spirit is with us every day, everywhere we go. Jesus is no longer in human form because now He is in spiritual form. Today, whatever you are praying for remember that God is the same God today as He was in the Bible, God is more than able to take care of anything you need. You are chosen, blessed, and loved by God! Here are some verses to reflect on today.  “for she thought, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.””Matthew‬ ‭9:21‬  “Coming up behind Jesus, she touched the fringe of his robe. Immediately, the bleeding stopped.”Luke‬ ‭8:44‬ ‭ “By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.”Hebrews‬ ‭11:3‬ ‭“And so he did only a few miracles there because of their unbelief.”Matthew‬ ‭13:58‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
