Your Story.
“We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.” Proverbs 16:9
Stop trying to take the pen away from God. He is the one writing your story. He knows everything that is happening in your life. The Bible says, "We make our plans but the Lord directs our steps." You can plans to go to the college you want, the school you want, buy the house you want, get the job you want, and marry the person you want but unless you include God in each of those things and ask if it is His plan for your life then it will never be your blessing. We can make mistakes and choose the wrong path, God knows that and He is longsuffering and forgiving to us, but we have a free will to ask God for help on what to decide and the path we choose to take. Making big decisions or small decisions is still important to God. Today, make sure that your dreams that are becoming plans are a part of God's will for your life and not something the enemy has planted to pull you away from the plan God has for you. God's plan for you is always better than what you could choose for yourself it is important to ask God what you should do in order to make the right decision for not only your life at the moment but also for your future. Your plans can become a blessing if it is the perfect will for you, but remind yourself that it's best when God writes your story instead of you writing it yourself. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “We can make our own plans, but the Lord gives the right answer.” Proverbs 16:1 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 “Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs 16:3 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5
