A Heart Chasing After God.

“But God removed Saul and replaced him with David, a man about whom God said, ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart. He will do everything I want him to do.’” Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭13:22‬ ‭

See when God chooses someone for a purpose and a plan, He doesn't look at you and wonder if you're capable of doing what He is calling you to do, instead, He gives you the ability and strength to do what He has called you to do. He is calling you because He has either already prepared you, or will prepare you for what you are called to do. You will never walk into your calling from God and not be prepared, God does not call the qualified but instead, He qualifies those who are called. When God chose David to be the king, the Bible says that God found a man after His heart, that being David. If you feel as though you haven't found your calling think about where your heart truly is. Is your heart chasing God or chasing the world? Where your heart goes the mind follows, and when your mind is on the world, and things of it, you eventually fall into sin because you are chasing the wrong things. God wants us to be fully aware of what we are called to do through Him, and the best way to do that and to be the best person for that job is to have a heart chasing after God. Today, make sure your heart is chasing after God and watch how God opens up your ministry and calling for Him. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.” Psalms‬ ‭51:10‬ ‭ “God would surely have known it, for he knows the secrets of every heart.” Psalms‬ ‭44:21‬ ‭ “You can have no part in this, for your heart is not right with God.” Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭8:21‬ ‭ “I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.””Psalms‬ ‭40:8‬ ‭
