A Rotten Apple.

“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” 1 Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭

When the enemy throws insecurities at you, and makes you feel as though you're worthless throw the truth at him. Tell him that you're a child of God, you are chosen and handpicked by God, you are deeply loved by God, you are made in the image of God, and God's mercy goes deep for you. Remind him that his mistake does not have anything to do with you. See he hates that he made a mistake and was kicked out of heaven but we make mistakes and God forgives us daily. It's like when you have a fruit bowl and one fruit goes bad if you don't get the fruit that is bad out of the bowl it will make the others spoil too. He is a rotten apple that wants to make everyone else rotten because of the misery he has to live in. The enemy will do anything and use any tactic that he can to make you as rotten as he is. The wonderful thing about God is that He will fight the battles that we can't. Today, if the enemy tries to make those lies come up in your mind remind yourself that you are redeemed, you are free in Christ, and you are so loved. You are free from your past, insecurities, fear, and anything else that the burden is too much to carry. Take anything that the enemy throws at you and give it to God, let Him fight the battle and win for you! God always wins, no matter what. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭ “So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭ “In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.” Ephesians‬ ‭6:16‬ ‭ “Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.” Ephesians‬ ‭6:11‬ ‭

Just like if you hang around bad fruits of the spirit it'll mess your spirit up to be bad as there's when you stay around them very long

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
