A Sign For You.
“And God confirmed the message by giving signs and wonders and various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit whenever he chose.” Hebrews 2:4
I have realized that God will confirm things to you in ways that you will understand. I have often prayed for a sign from God to have direction in my life, and most times He does give me one, other times I believe that it is just something that I don't need to know about yet. There was a time in my life when God wanted me to wait, and the thing that I was waiting on was tough. I wanted to jump up and make things happen for myself, but I knew it wasn't right for me to do that. I then would pray for a sign often that I was still continuing to do the right thing by waiting, and every time within 10-20 minutes God would give me that sign again. I think we all need a sign at times because it shows us we are on the right path. I had someone ask me the other day how to ask for a sign from God. My answer was simple, think of something that is out of the ordinary you could ask for, or open your Bible to a random page and see what God is telling you. A sign doesn't have to be something perfectly planned. Today, if you're looking for direction and need to know what to do next ask God for a sign. Ask Him and He will give it to you. He never leads us astray and every time He gives us a sign it is a promise, He keeps every promise that He makes, and that's something you can depend on. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”Jeremiah 29:11 “But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!” John 15:7 “And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.” Romans 8:26 “For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew 7:8
