Better Than What's Lost.

“When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes. In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before!” Job‬ ‭42:10‬ ‭

See when we lose things like money, friends, and so-called valuables in our lives, we always assume what we lost is better than what is coming, but truly it is the other way around. What we lose is never better than what God has for us next. Think of the story of Job, even take time to read the story of his sometime. He went through so much loss in his life, and at the end of the story in the Bible, it says that Job prayed for His friends and He was given double what He had before. We used to sing a song at my old church that went like this, "I went to the enemy camp and I took back what he stole from me." It's time for us to take back what the enemy has stolen from us our lives, our peace, our happiness, or friends and family that have gone into the world. What God allows the enemy to take away from you is never the best you'll ever have. Today, don't let the enemy keep what he stole from you, God either has something better or double what you had before to give back to you. You never lose when God is on your side and He is fighting for you. Lossing isn't an option but only a lie from the enemy. Here are some verses to reflect on today.  “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” John‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭ “The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”” Exodus‬ ‭14:14‬ ‭ ““But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.” Jeremiah‬ ‭17:7‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
