Don't Judge Others.
“They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!”” John 8:7
We are so quick to judge people by what we hear about them, but instead, we should think about how God doesn't judge us by what He knows about us. Jesus is the only person to have ever walked on this earth that was worthy of judging someone, and do you know what He did in that situation? He said, "All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone." That one person out of the whole crowd that could have done it didn't. He chose compassion and forgiveness. After no one threw a stone Jesus said to the woman, "Neither do I. Go and sin no more." Next time you hear a rumor of someone instead of feeding into it and listening walk away from it. Don't entertain gossip. The Bible says, "A troublemaker plants seeds of strife; gossip separates the best of friends." God doesn't hold the things He knows about you against you, so don't hold the things you hear about others against them. God forgives so quickly and so should you. Today, if you find yourself in a situation of having to forgive someone quickly then forgive the way God has forgiven you! If you find yourself in a situation of someone gossiping or hearing about a rumor walk away because it does nothing but break apart friendships and those you are close to. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““No, Lord,” she said. And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.” ----------” John 8:11 “A gossip goes around telling secrets, so don’t hang around with chatterers.” Proverbs 20:19 “A troublemaker plants seeds of strife; gossip separates the best of friends.” Proverbs 16:28 “Rumors are dainty morsels that sink deep into one’s heart.”Proverbs 18:8 ““Do not judge others, and you will not be judged.” Matthew 7:1
