Faith Without Seeing.
“Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”” John 20:29
I have wondered so many times in my life why Jesus wasn't born in today's time. When people doubt the way He came to the earth, the miracles He has done, and the way He saved each one of us from the sins we were yet to commit then they would see it on the news, social media, and the internet. As I thought about that I felt God speak to me and say, "Where is the faith in that? If everyone in the world had the proof of My existence there would be no faith." See the Bible says that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Therefore, faith is based on not being able to see Him. It's like this it's easy to have faith that God will make a way when you have already seen that happen, but what faith means is that you believe in God to make it happen before you see it happening. Today, make sure that your faith is not based on things you see, instead have faith in those things you cannot yet see. Jesus didn't need to be on tv, social media, and the internet for those who are truly His children, because we will believe in Him either way because we know the truth. Those who choose to believe that God is real without seeing Him, are the true children of God. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Hebrews 11:1 “By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.” Hebrews 11:3 “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” Hebrews 11:6 “Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.”Matthew 21:21
