God's Plan Is Best!

“We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.” Proverbs‬ ‭16:9‬ ‭

We've all heard the saying, "Parents know best." Think about this though, God knows best. See our parents are always looking out for us and trying to protect us, but so is God. He wants the absolute best for us. We are often times scared to trust others in fear of failure, but it never has to be that way with God. He always knows best and He never fails us. He doesn't just know what happened today, yesterday, a year ago, and what will happen tomorrow He knows every detail of it, and He has it all taken care of always. See when you go to plan an event you plan every detail by thinking about it, such as the time, place, theme, amount of money you will spend, and size of the event, when God plans what is best for you He thinks of every detail very precisely. The Bible says we can make our plans but the Lord directs our steps. You may think your plans are great for your life but once you see what God has for you then you will realize that the plans you had weren't near as good as God's plans! Today, whatever it is you are planning remember that God truly does know best, your plans may be good but remember that God's plan is great. You are worthy of what God has for you and that is why God has it prepared for you. Your future is safe because it is in the hands of God who created you, the earth, and everything that lives and grows on the earth. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him.” Proverbs‬ ‭2:8‬ ‭ “God would surely have known it, for he knows the secrets of every heart.”Psalms‬ ‭44:21‬ ‭ “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭ “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭

God's plans are the best. We can't plan our life as well as he can. When we try it turns out bad every time.

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
