God's Strength Through You.
“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13
Most of the stories in the Bible come from people who had to take courage and put their faith into action. Think of the woman at the well it took courage for her to talk to Jesus out of fear of judgment, Noah was to build an ark for himself and his family and to be the only people left on this earth, Daniel in the lion's den not only in with the lions but with them being hungry, Moses at the Red sea to cross it while being chased, and even Ruth who left her family and stayed with her mother-in-law and had just lost her husband and father in law. What I'm getting at is that whatever you are facing that is taking courage and faith to do it will someday be a testimony, and you will be able to tell of God's goodness and strength that brought you through it. Today, if you faced a difficult situation remind yourself that God is using it for your good, the courage you take to overcome things will one day show God's strength through you just as it is done in the Bible to those people. The things they went through didn't show weakness in them, it showed God's strength to work through them and their faith into turned into action. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 “God is my strong fortress, and he makes my way perfect.” 2 Samuel 22:33
