His Promise Still Stands.
“Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything he had spoken came true.” Joshua 21:45
God has always been faithful to His word all throughout the Bible, why would He not be faithful to us and to His words and promises to us? We are quick to assume that God has forgotten us or won't come through for us because things don't happen when we want to. I was praying about a promise God had made to me before and God spoke to me and said, "If I remember to put the rainbow in the sky as the example of my promise to never flood the earth again still today, then isn't the promise I have made to you just as important for me to keep?" I then realized that just because I can't see it, feel it, or even sometimes imagine it doesn't mean that God will not come through with each and every promise He has made and will make in the future. You are still getting that promise that God made to you, He hasn't forgotten you and He will not forget you. In the same way, God remembers to put the rainbow in the sky each time He does, He remembers the promise He made to you. Don't let the enemy deceive you into thinking that it won't happen, because if God said it then it will happen. Today, renew your faith and hope because God is still going to do what you've asked for. You are not forgotten, you are still getting everything that God has for you but it will be on God's time, not your time. When God makes a promise He will not forget it or the person He made the promise to. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “What’s more, I am with you, and I will protect you wherever you go. One day I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have finished giving you everything I have promised you.”” Genesis 28:15 “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 “Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.” Hebrews 10:36 “And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” 2 Corinthians 9:8
