Love Freely.
“Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.” Romans 12:10
You can spend twenty-four hours a day talking about Jesus, and that is great but when you love Jesus truly you will set the example of how His love really is. See it's easy to love those who are good to you and do good things for you, but what is more difficult to do is to love those who hurt you and betray you. If Jesus wasn't loving toward those who betray Him then He wouldn't love us. We betray Him by sinning and making the wrong choices. Next time that you talk to or see someone that is difficult to deal with or to love remind yourself that by God's grace and forgiveness, we are loved despite our choices, mistakes, and sins. Be kind to that person and love them unconditionally. To love unconditionally means to love without strings attached, loving someone doesn't mean you have to be their best friend, be someone you date, or even be someone in your daily life, but what it does mean is when you love others you are being kind to them no matter what. Today, love those who hurt you, betrayed you, and those who are difficult to love. Be kind to them no matter what. You are the example of God's love that He has for each of us, and God wants us to set that example even for those who aren't easy to love. Love others freely without any strings attached and be kind to everyone you see. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.” 1 John 4:11 “Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.” 1 John 3:18 “Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.” 1 Peter 3:8 “You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.” 1 Peter 1:22
