Open Up To God.

“For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.” Philippians‬ ‭2:13‬

This verse tells us that God working through us gives us the desire to do what is right. The only way for that is to open our hearts fully to Him. In this generation, we each have our own issues and things we struggle with and truthfully most of us struggle with trust. We have a hard time letting our walls down and opening up, at least I know that I personally do. See with God we cannot do that, we have to learn to quickly let our walls down. Even though we fully trust God oftentimes we will still worry. I went through a time in my life when something really stressful was coming up, something that I wanted to change but had no idea how I could possibly change it. I prayed over it and asked God to fix what I couldn't fix. I prayed and stressed over it as it was coming up and things were staying the same, I felt and heard God speak to me and say, "Why do you do this? You stress over things all the time. Have I not handled it every other time you've asked? I will this time too." He handled it just like He said. We can choose to listen to the worry, stress, and things we cannot control but we are in the most capable hands in the world to fully take care of us and all the things that we face. If anyone in this world can take care of you and all of your problems, that is God! Today, let your walls down for God, He draws closer to us when we draw closer to Him. Make the first move, start spending time daily with God, and fully open up to Him. He just wants your time and you to fully have faith and trust in Him. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.”James‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭ “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ “By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:3‬ ‭ “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”Hebrews‬ ‭11:6‬ ‭
