Right Friends.
“Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers.” Psalms 1:1
When God delievers you from evil, don't keep in touch. Sometimes people willingly walk out of our lives that we thought would stick around forever, and it hurts. Sometimes God sees that they aren't meant for where you're going, they were only meant for where you've been. Stop questioning God every time He removes someone from your life. See when you're walking the fine line of being a Christian God and being against the world God doesn't let just anyone be in your everyday life. I'm not saying you can't eat with the sinners but being around them all the time is only going to tempt you. God doesn't want you to stumble or be around those who might cause you to. We shouldn't allow ourselves to be around those who could cause us to do so. Don't be so quick to run to those you know aren't good for you, or good for your relationship with God. You can be a friend from a distance and still protect yourself and your relationship with God. Today, don't be so quick to question why God takes people out of your life, it's all for a purpose and a part of the plan He has for you. Trust God to show you those who are right for you, and take those who aren't out of your everyday life. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.” Proverbs 13:20 “The godly give good advice to their friends; the wicked lead them astray.”Proverbs 12:26 “He chooses evil people as companions. He spends his time with wicked men.” Job 34:8 “Don’t let me drift toward evil or take part in acts of wickedness. Don’t let me share in the delicacies of those who do wrong.” Psalms 141:4
