Share The Good News!

“For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.” Romans‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭

Do you ever back down on sharing your faith due to being afraid of what others will think? I even have done this myself. Sometimes we fear being honest about God and how we should spread the Gospel of Jesus because we don't want to offend others. Sometimes you have to ask yourself would I want someone to tell me about Jesus if I didn't have the privilege of knowing and being loved by Him? You have to make your mind place you in the position of others to understand how important sharing the Gospel really is. We let the enemy control us into not sharing the Gospel by making us fear what others might say or think of us. Others can label us as anything that they want but it doesn't amount to anything in this world because what God says is what matters. Today, if you find yourself in a position to share the Gospel, don't be afraid to tell them about Jesus. If you were the one lost, running from God, or not even having the knowledge of knowing Him because everyone else had been too afraid to tell you of Him wouldn't you want to know Him? God is a loving, caring, and wonderful Father to us and we should stand on the rooftops sharing what we know! It's something great that we should never contain inside. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭ “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!” Isaiah‬ ‭52:7‬ ‭ “Yet preaching the Good News is not something I can boast about. I am compelled by God to do it. How terrible for me if I didn’t preach the Good News!” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭9:16‬ ‭ “So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.” Romans‬ ‭10:17‬

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
