God Is In Your Story!

““I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.”” Jeremiah‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭

Stop trying to take the pen away and let God write your story. So many times we think that our plans are better than God's but that's far from true, God is the perfect person to write your story. The Bible tells us that He knew us before He formed us in our mother's womb. He knew the plans He had for you and what all your life would come to, but He also knew the valleys of life you can overcome to make you stronger. Your plans may seem right, but God's plans' end goal is always better than your own. If you think your plans are better and choose to take your own path you will only end up hurting yourself in the end. Your plans will never amount to God's plans for you! Today, take what you know and ask God to guide you to His plans for you and your life. You will never go wrong when your life is in His hands! God is in your story, God is working all things out for you! Here are some verses to reflect on today! “No human wisdom or understanding or plan can stand against the Lord.”Proverbs‬ ‭21:30‬ ‭ “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭ “O Lord, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them.” Isaiah‬ ‭25:1‬ ‭ “For the Lord is God, and he created the heavens and earth and put everything in place. He made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos. “I am the Lord,” he says, “and there is no other.” Isaiah‬ ‭45:18‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
