Perfect Timing.

“The smallest family will become a thousand people, and the tiniest group will become a mighty nation. At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”” Isaiah‬ ‭60:22‬ ‭

I was talking to someone tonight about how so many times we want to give up and we want to give in because we cannot see anything happening. We think that all the good things that were going to happen have already happened and that there aren't any more blessings left for us. That is not reality. So many times in my life I have wanted to throw in the towel and give up because I felt like nothing good was going to come, but God always shows up and shows out. The thing about God is He doesn't open doors and open things up for us when we want Him to. I've learned that the hard way. God doesn't open things up even when we think that we need it the most, He opens things up when He knows it is right. Maybe there is no perfect time in our lives but God knows more than we do. God doesn't give us things when we want because He knows when we need them and when it is the right time. God always is looking out for you. Today, remind yourself that at the right time, God will make it happen. Your prayers arent being wasted but stored up for God to do it at the perfect time. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:8‬ ‭ “For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:9‬ ‭ “So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.” 1 Peter‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭ “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Galatians‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
