Right Doors Open.

“For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” Luke‬ ‭11:10‬ ‭

Have you ever thought that the door closed because it wasn't from God, and was never meant for you? If there is one thing in life I have learned it's that if something is not meant for you then there is nothing you can do to keep it from closing. God doesn't continue to allow things and people to stay in our lives that aren't meant to be there, and sometimes we create our own pain by making decisions and not checking with God first. You cannot continue to hold the door open that wasn't meant to be opened in the first place. One of the most inspiring quotes I've heard is, "If God closes a door be prepared for a window to be opened." If you're at a standstill because a door has closed in your life know that God has something better for you. You have to learn to let go of the doors that are closed. Get excited for the window to open. Today, don't cling to the things not meant for you, ask God to show you what is and what isn't, and He will. You can never hold a door open that was meant to be closed in the first place.. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”Matthew‬ ‭7:7‬ ‭ “People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart.” Proverbs‬ ‭21:2‬ ‭ “Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go.” Proverbs‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭ “For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭6:2‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
