Season Of Unknown.

“Jesus replied, “You don’t understand now what I am doing, but someday you will.”” John‬ ‭13:7‬ ‭

So many times in life we go through seasons that we cannot understand. I have been reading in Matthew, I finished it last night. I realized that although the disciples walked with Jesus and were with Him all the time they still never fully understood Him or His plan. Jesus told them the things to come but they still did not understand. It's like looking at a situation from the inside to the out, you cannot understand it the way someone from the outside can. God understands every season we go through and knows the reasoning for it. God never sends us into a season without a purpose. The Bible says, "You may not understand what I am doing now, but someday you will." Today, if there are things you don't understand ask God for knowledge. Not every season is easy to understand but every season has a purpose. Just like the seasons we have physically, they all have a purpose. Don't give up in the unknown season when the next season is the harvest! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:9‬ ‭ ““My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:8‬ ‭ “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:1‬  ‭ “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Galatians‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
