The Narrow Road.
“But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.” Matthew 7:14
Sometimes we are willing to walk into sin thinking that it will fulfill our hearts, but if it breaks God's heart then how will it ever fulfill yours? You can choose your own path in life, and often times that seems like the easy way, but in reality, it will never lead you to where you are truly meant to be. If God's heart is broken seeing us walk into sin then how will it ever be the outcome that we think it will be. There are people who will never have good intentions towards us, but God is not one of those people. God is always looking out for you and what is best for you. If you think walking in sin is what will fulfill you in life you're mistaken. I asked God one time why people who are deeply in the world seem happy and content, and He answered me and said, "Because they have happiness earthly, but an eternity of misery to deal with." Think about that for a minute. Is finding true earthly happiness to fulfill you really worth your eternity? The Bible says that many follow the broad road, but few find the narrow road to eternity. Today, make sure that you're so focused on the narrow road that you can't be pulled off of it by those who have earthly happiness because the happiness you get from God will last an eternity. I can promise you that God is going to fill your heart in ways you didn't even imagine if only you chose the right path. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way.” Matthew 7:13 ““From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.”” Isaiah 43:13 “Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.” Colossians 3:2 “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” Romans 3:23
