The Original Plan.

“In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭

It's okay to come to God with all your sins, problems, and burdens. God has never asked you to come to Him with no burdens, problems, or sins, He says to come to as you are. You can come to God with everything you're carrying and give Him the things that are weighing you down. If He wanted you to be perfect He would have never sent Jesus. I was thinking about Adam and Eve and their sin with the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. I began to question why God put the tree in the garden in the first place if He didn't want them to eat from it. In my spirit, I felt God speak to me and say, "I had a plan from the start, I had a plan named Jesus." It hit me so hard that He knew all along. The Bible says the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The plan had always been Jesus, He was there from the start. Today, know that God had a plan for you and a plan to save you from your sins long before you were even born. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “He existed in the beginning with God.” John‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭ “But the word of the Lord remains forever.” And that word is the Good News that was preached to you.” 1 Peter‬ ‭1:25‬ ‭ “We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭ “I was chosen to explain to everyone this mysterious plan that God, the Creator of all things, had kept secret from the beginning.”Ephesians‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
