Your Gift Is For God!

“You will experience all these blessings if you obey the Lord your God:” Deuteronomy‬ ‭28:2‬ ‭

When God gives us something He doesn't give us a list of do's and don't's with that. He expects us to use it for good and if we don't then we reap what we sow. You cannot get a blessing from God and use it the wrong way and expect God to continue to bless you. It's like God giving you the gift of music and you using it for all the wrong things, why would God hand you better when you aren't using what He gave you for good. Think of the story of the devil, he thought He was better than God with the gift God had given him and he was kicked from Heaven. Don't take any blessing or gifts from God and not use them for what He intended you to. Today, whatever gift or blessing God has given you take it and use it for good, use it for the glory of God. God doesn't expect you to be perfect but He does expect your best effort. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.” Ephesians‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭ “If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.” Romans‬ ‭12:8‬ “Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.”James‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭ “That is the Lord’s blessing for those who fear him.” Psalms‬ ‭128:4‬ ‭

Preach it Girl!! You're so right & on my page. I feel the same way. I just don't understand why gifts given is used for the devil. They could be so much better with that talent or talents if they gave it to God!!

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
