Your Pace Is Okay!
“But if you do what is wrong, you will be paid back for the wrong you have done. For God has no favorites.”Colossians 3:25
So many times we compare our lives to others and become discouraged when we aren't on the same pace that they are. I used to always feel behind everyone and like my life was moving in slow motion until I realized that maybe the timing I was on was made to be different than everyone else's. God has no favorites the Bible says. If you feel discouraged because many are in their harvest season and you're only in the season of planting then know that your harvest will come, at the right time. We couldn't always be in the same season as everyone or life wouldn't be full of ups and downs. We are meant to uplift others and for them to do the same for us. Today, focus on now. Don't watch what pace everyone else is going at make sure that you're more focused on what God is doing for you and not so much on others' harvest. You will never be able to have the best crop if you're constantly watching and watering everyone else's. Focus on what God has for you and yourself. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Galatians 6:9 “And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God’s purpose is that people should fear him.” Ecclesiastes 3:14 “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 “Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11
