You're Never Alone!

 “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”” Joshua‬ ‭1:9‬

‭I feel like most of us have been through a season where we feel alone, we feel as though we have no one and that no one could possibly be there for us. Sometimes when you come to that place it isn't so much that God allowed you to be alone, but maybe He needed you to be alone. In the quiet and alone places that is often times where we come to the realization that all we really need is Him. I know I have been there and I have learned that there is truly no greater friend than Jesus. We don't like to be alone, animals don't even like to be alone, well most of them. That is why God made male and female so that we wouldn't have to go through life alone. He doesn't expect us to spend our entire lives lonely, but sometimes it is good to have time alone to think and pray. Most of the things I have learned in my relationship with God have been in quiet moments where I went off alone to pray. That is exactly what the Bible says we should do when we pray in a closed-off room alone. I feel like when we do that we realize the joy, hope, faith, and all the things we need are found in one place, God! We don't have to keep searching in the world and things of it to find that when we can just get it from the One who created it all. Today if you feel alone maybe this is for you to realize that you have a true friend who will never leave or forsake you, someone who will uplift, strengthen, and bring you happiness in all moments of life. He is the one person who knows and sees all! He loves you and He chose you before you were formed in your mother's womb, nothing you have done has made Him leave. Trust in Him and know you are never alone when God is your best friend and He will always listen in prayer. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” Isaiah‬ ‭41:10‬ ‭ “So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.””Deuteronomy‬ ‭31:6‬ ‭ “Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.”” Genesis‬ ‭2:18‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
