All That You Are Called To Be!

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭

You have got what it takes to become all that God has called you to be! Nothing you have done has changed the fact that you are called by God! You have a purpose and you are going to help save souls if you choose to do so. We each go through times where we are tempted, we can choose to withstand that and still press forward to our purpose. We all make mistakes and the Bible says that we all fall short of God's glory, you did not ruin God's plan for your life but if you continue to run from Him all of your life He cannot do the work in you, and through you if you don't let Him. God gave us free will to do what we want in life, but choosing to follow our sinful nature doesn't lead us to be the person He has called us to be. God called you for a reason, it is your choice if you want to follow that. He could use you in ways you never expected or could even imagine if you choose to let Him. Today, choose to let God use you to your full potential in Him, you could be the one to help save your family and friends and show them what God can truly do for a person and how He can transform someone into what He created them for in the first place. God wants to use you for His glory if only you will let Him. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭ ““For many are called, but few are chosen.”” Matthew‬ ‭22:14‬ ‭ “God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1:28‬ ‭ “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
