Don't Limit God!

““My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:8‬ ‭

Do not limit God to what you think. There is no possible way that we can ever think or comprehend what God does or thinks. He created the world in seven days by His voice, we use our hands to create things and there is no way we could do that. So many times we put a limit on what God can and cannot do, we shorten the blessing for ourselves when we do that because we doubt what He can do. The Bible says that our thoughts are not His thoughts, He thinks beyond what we could ever comprehend. When you're praying for something stop limiting what God can do, He is literally the God of the impossible! He works in ways we cannot understand and ways that we don't even see. That is why when God does something for you, you will realize there are no limits on what He is capable of. Today, don't limit God, know that He is more than able and will work all things out for you! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”” Matthew‬ ‭19:26‬ ‭ ““What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”” Mark‬ ‭9:23‬ ‭ “Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.””Mark‬ ‭10:27‬ ‭ ““O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!” Jeremiah‬ ‭32:17‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
