God Knows Best.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
God will reveal certain things to you for a reason, but you have to be willing to accept that reason. God doesn't just tell you what you want to hear, He tells you what He thinks. When we ask God for a sign we often have an expectation of what we want to hear and what we think is right, but that doesn't mean that God agrees with what we think is best. You might have things that you think are right for you, people you think are right for you, and even places that you think are right for you but God knows what is ultimately right for you. He sees things you don't see and hears conversations that you don't hear. The next time you ask God for a sign and it isn't what you wanted to hear take it as it comes, because God knows best. Today, make sure that you take God's word, signs, and the things He reveals to you as they come, do not sugarcoat them for what you think they should be. God knows best and take Him at His word. Here are some verses to reflect on today! ““My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah 55:8 “For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:9 “The Lord knows people’s thoughts; he knows they are worthless!” Psalms 94:11 “O Lord, what great works you do! And how deep are your thoughts.” Psalms 92:5
