Pain Into Joy!

“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.”James‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭

The pain, trials, and all the things you're dealing with will soon turn into joy! The trials of today will be your strength tomorrow. God doesn't send us out into hardships for us to stay in them. God does let us face trials because oftentimes times it shows where our hearts and souls are set on. When we go through life's trials we often times learn that what we are going through is something we have to learn from and grow from. If you've been in a season of drought, pain, anger, frustration, brokenness or anything else know that what God has for you next will be so much better than what you faced. God has a plan for your pain to turn into joy. Today, remember that the first miracle Jesus did was turn the water into wine, what makes you think He can't turn your pain into joy? God can do it and He will! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.” Luke‬ ‭2:10‬ “I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!” John‬ ‭15:11‬ ‭ “Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.” Romans‬ ‭12:12‬ ‭ “You have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine.” Psalms‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
