The Best Version Of Yourself.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭

We always tell ourselves that becoming our full potential of what God has called us to be is important because we deserve to be that. The reality is that it isn't so much about us and it is great for us, but in reality, it's more about the world and the people we can help save. The people we are meant to become isn't all about us, it's about how we can choose to set examples to others of what they can become through Christ. We should use the best versions of ourselves to show others how God can transform anyone into a good person. Instead of pushing towards your best self for all the wrong reasons, push towards your best self so everyone can see how God can take anyone and make them new again. We cannot fix things that break sometimes, but we are the clay in the Potter's hands and He can fix us! Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““O Israel, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand.” Jeremiah‬ ‭18:6‬ ‭ “When a potter makes jars out of clay, doesn’t he have a right to use the same lump of clay to make one jar for decoration and another to throw garbage into?” Romans‬ ‭9:21‬ ‭ “And yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.” Isaiah‬ ‭64:8‬ ‭ “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
