The No’s.

“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:8‬ ‭

Sometimes the "no's" are actually protection. I have questioned why things haven't happened so many times in my life and why the answer was always no, but later on, when I look back on those times I realize that it was more of God's protection. God's no is often because reason one isn't for you at all, reason two isn't for you now, and reason three is that God has something better for you. God doesn't give us things we want, He waits and gives us what we need. If God says no don't be upset, it is His protection. God has something more than just waiting for you, don't give up while you're waiting for what is next, it will be better than what you could ever imagine in your mind. Today, know that your waiting is not for nothing, something greater is ahead and God's no is only protection. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ “So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord.” Lamentations‬ ‭3:26‬ ‭ “Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.” Psalms‬ ‭27:13‬ ‭ “Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.” Psalms‬ ‭37:4‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
