The Perfect Person.

“For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her” Ephesians‬ ‭5:25‬ ‭

We all dream of our wedding day with the perfect person for us. We spend so much time thinking that our wedding is the end goal, but that is far from the truth. The goal is to be in the perfect will of God, with the perfect person that He has hand-picked for you. Today's world teaches us that being alone and single is a bad thing, but in reality, it's a beautiful season to learn and grow. In the years I was single instead of using it to search for a relationship I used those years to be happy with where I was, grow in my relationship with God, and realize the qualities I needed in a man. If you're in the season of waiting use it to grow your relationship with God. The reason you are having to wait might not even be about you having to grow more, maybe it's more about the person you're waiting for who needs more time. You are designed for a perfect person and God prepares each of you for a marriage that will glorify Him and His love for the church. Your future spouse will love you, pray for and with you, and always encourage you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “As the Scriptures say, “A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.”” Ephesians‬ ‭5:31‬ ‭ “So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.” Ephesians‬ ‭5:33‬ ‭ “In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself.” Ephesians‬ ‭5:28‬ ‭ “Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:7‬ ‭
