Waiting Season.

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬

 ‭If you knew what God was sending then you wouldn't worry during the waiting season. If you plant a seed you know what is going to grow, but if you're in the waiting know that there is a purpose. You have a purpose and lesson even in the waiting. Learn to trust God even when it's quiet and looks like nothing is coming. God is still in control, there is no reason to worry, God didn't forget you in this season of waiting. You will still get all the things you are praying for, God doesn't get tired of you asking for that breakthrough, healing, financial help, or anything else, He wants you to ask. Today, be hopeful! This season of waiting is for a purpose and it was not a waste of your time. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭ “Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.” Psalms‬ ‭27:13‬ ‭ “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” Isaiah‬ ‭41:10‬ ‭ “Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.”Psalms‬ ‭37:5‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
