What God Says.

“Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭

The world will tell you to do them how they do you, but the Bible says to forgive seventy times seven and to treat others the way that you want to be treated. The world will always teach you the opposite of God's word. If you ever wonder what advice you should take see if it will align with the Bible. The world wants you to follow your sinful desires, to be hateful, to judge others, and to be the opposite of what God has called you to be. The Bible tells you to be strong, not follow your sinful desires and flee from temptation, to be kind, to not judge and love others, and to be everything that God has called you to be. Today, remind yourself to not listen to what the world tells you, and not always take people's advice. See if the advice from the world and others aligns with what God has told you to do, that is what matters. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. “Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
