You Will Be Prepared!

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭

God doesn't call those who are prepared, He prepares those who are called. Think of Daniel in the lion's den, he wasn't prepared to be fed to the lions, but when he was he still trusted God. He knew that God would prepare him when he needed to. He knows the perfect time for you to be prepared. He will prepare you for the perfect moment. Think of Esther, I don't personally think that she felt she was ready to become a queen, but God gave her the confidence and prepared her for what she was meant to do. Today, whatever it is you need to do know that God did not call you because He thinks you are prepared, He will prepare you when it is needed! You will be prepared when the time comes for the door to open and you will be able to walk into it with full confidence. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” 2 Timothy‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭ “God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.” 2 Timothy‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭ “John is the man to whom the Scriptures refer when they say, ‘Look, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, and he will prepare your way before you.’” Matthew‬ ‭11:10‬ ‭ ““Get up and prepare for action. Go out and tell them everything I tell you to say. Do not be afraid of them, or I will make you look foolish in front of them.” Jeremiah‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
