One Master.
““No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.”” Luke 16:13
At times we get so caught up in how others view us and their opinions of us that we forget when God calls us He also equips us. The opinion of you by others amounts to nothing in the eyes of God, He looks at the heart. He knows your notice behind every move you make, He sees all and He knows all. Their opinions don't change what God sees in them. The day that God created you in your mother's womb is the day He called you for all that He knows you can do. No one's opinion of you can change what God knows about you. God wants your loyalty you cannot serve two masters, that being the world's opinion and God's. You have to come to a place in your life where you realize what others think doesn't amount to anything with what all God knows about you. He still uses us after all He knows, because once you are called, you are chosen by Him. because He already loves and adores you. Today, be proud of yourself and don't worry about what anyone else but God thinks of you because, at the end of the day, He is the one person who will never leave you, forsake you, and love you despite all your mistakes. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.” Matthew 6:24 “Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety.” Proverbs 29:25 “You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.” John 15:16 “But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9
