Parting Your Red Sea.

“Pick up your staff and raise your hand over the sea. Divide the water so the Israelites can walk through the middle of the sea on dry ground.” Exodus‬ ‭14:16‬ ‭

The story of God parting the Red Sea for Moses and the people of Israel. The thing is when they reached the Red Sea they didn't have forever to cross it, they were in a rush. They were being chased because they had escaped. When we are in a situation of having to run from life's circumstances and we are on a time crunch we oftentimes think that God can't work in the little time that we have, but God doesn't need a certain amount of time to work things out. In the same way God made a way for the Israelites and Moses, He can make a way through the troubles you are facing. The moment you prayed for that miracle, healing, or help God started working out the details right then. He will part any Red Sea you face in life. Today, pray and trust God with the rest. If you do what you have to do God will do His part. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again.” Exodus‬ ‭14:13‬ ‭ “The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”” Exodus‬ ‭14:14‬ ‭ “When my glory is displayed through them, all Egypt will see my glory and know that I am the Lord!”” Exodus‬ ‭14:18‬ ‭ “for you answer our prayers. All of us must come to you.”Psalms‬ ‭65:2‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
