Pray For Others.
“When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes. In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before!” Job 42:10
What if what you're going through is preparing you for what you're praying for. If we knew the battles that we are facing ended in the blessing wouldn't that make it much easier to have faith until the battle is over? That's the reason that I feel like God doesn't show us His whole plan, because where is the faith when we know what to expect? Faith is believing without seeing. When you're facing hard times in life know that it's a part of a bigger picture that God can see although you can't. When I face difficult times I often times think of how Job was in the middle of facing many trials at once but after the temptation and battles were over God blessed Job with more than He had before, double to be exact. The Bible says God blessed Him with double when He prayed for His friends. Have you ever stopped in the middle of your own battles to pray for your friends? That is sometimes what it takes for us to find our miracle, is to put what we are going through aside and remember others face battles too. Today, pray for those around you and those who are in your life. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Hebrews 11:1 “By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.” Hebrews 11:3 “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” Hebrews 11:6
