Search For The Godly One.

“But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”” 1 Samuel‬ ‭16:7‬ ‭

To a worldly woman a Godly man seems boring, but to a Godly woman a Godly man is like finding a treasure. When we are searching for "the one" we often times look over them because of their outward appearance, but God doesn't choose someone based on their looks, He chooses someone based on their heart! When looking for a relationship stop looking at the way someone looks on the outside and start to try to learn their heart. When you really want a relationship that lasts it has a lot less to do with how someone looks, and what they wear but more on how they love God, treat others and you! When someone has a true relationship with God their hearts will reflect His love, His care, and all for His glory. Today, if you're searching for the one or questioning if the person you're with is the one ask yourself what does their heart reflect that you can see? Does it reflect God's glory or the world's glory? At the end of the day as a Godly man or woman, someone who is a worldly person will never love you in the right way because they will never fully understand you and your love for God. Make sure you choose right in relationships because it matters to God who you end up with. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “It is better to be godly and have little than to be evil and rich.” Psalms‬ ‭37:16‬ ‭ “For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her” Ephesians‬ ‭5:25‬ ‭ “In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself.” Ephesians‬ ‭5:28‬ ‭ “So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.” Ephesians‬ ‭5:33‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
