The Testimony!

“My God sent his angel to shut the lions’ mouths so that they would not hurt me, for I have been found innocent in his sight. And I have not wronged you, Your Majesty.””Daniel‬ ‭6:22‬ ‭

If Daniel could trust God in a den of lions don't you think you can trust Him with your problems? The keyword you need to pay attention to is a den of lions, now a lion's den without lions is one thing but Daniel was thrown in with hungry lions in their own den. God knew what Daniel was going through would help bring souls to God. What you go through is what God will use as your testimony. We always want to have a testimony but we never want to face the test, I'm sure Daniel and anyone else who faced things didn't want to either, but that is oftentimes how God works. Whatever the hardships you have faced in life you can always let God use them for His glory! Today, use what you've gone through or are going through in this moment as a testimony. God wants to use you if only you will choose to let Him. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “The king was overjoyed and ordered that Daniel be lifted from the den. Not a scratch was found on him, for he had trusted in his God.” Daniel‬ ‭6:23‬ ‭ “I replied, “But my work seems so useless! I have spent my strength for nothing and to no purpose. Yet I leave it all in the Lord’s hand; I will trust God for my reward.”” Isaiah‬ ‭49:4‬ ‭“Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.” Isaiah‬ ‭26:4‬ ‭ “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
