Trust In God!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.” Proverbs‬ ‭3:5‬

‭Someone needs to hear this today, give God just a little bit more time. The things you're facing in life will not compare to how big the blessing that is coming really is. We oftentimes think that God is taking forever to open the doors we have prayed for but in reality, there were fine print details He had to work out. Sometimes the prayers we pray involve other people, and those sometimes take a bit longer for God to answer, because the free will that He gives you He also gives to others. The way that God is patient with you, He is patient with others. We want to rush things so often but have to realize that we have to have patience with God and His timing. Our timing might seem to be perfect at the moment but God knows the perfect time for all things. Today, trust in Him and His timing for your life. Know that His will is for you to prosper in life. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭ ““But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.” Jeremiah‬ ‭17:7‬ ‭ “The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.” 2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
