Walk Through The Door.

“When the disciples saw him walking on the water, they were terrified. In their fear, they cried out, “It’s a ghost!”” Matthew‬ ‭14:26‬ ‭

When big doors open we sometimes get scared to walk through them out of fear that it isn't from God. When this happens we should stop and pray and ask God to guide us in deciding if we should walk through it. Think of the story when Jesus walked on the water, the disciples that walked with Him every day even thought it was a ghost, but Jesus said it was Him and they should not be afraid. When Jesus walks on the water we cannot choose to let fear rule us, if we keep our eyes on Him, we will be just fine. Today, if a door opens for you and you're fearful to walk into it even if you know it is from God, know that the blessings He gives aren't something we should fear. Be open to the doors God opens up for you because He knows best. He wouldn't give you something that would hurt you, He gives us His best. Walk through the door that God opens for you, He is going to show you blessings you never imagined. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!”” Matthew‬ ‭14:27‬ ‭ ““Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew‬ ‭7:7‬ ‭ “For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew‬ ‭7:8‬ ‭ ““I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me.” Revelation‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
