Your Path Matters.

“And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him.” Colossians‬ ‭2:6‬ ‭

The world tells us to have a "glo up" but what we really need is to glo up in God! When we find ourselves and our worth in God then we mature and grow into the best versions of ourselves ever. We oftentimes try to change ourselves to please the world but when we do that we only become someone we aren't meant to be. When we do choose to change ourselves into the person God wants us to be then we become all that we are meant to be. The best "glo up" we could ever have is when we grow in Christ! Jesus gave His life so that we can live freely in Him and be the person He knows we can be. You have free will in your life to choose which path you take whether to be what the world wants you to be or what God wants you to be. Your choice determines more than what others see you as, it also determines your eternity. Today, make sure your glo up is in Christ and not the world, because who you are matters. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.”James‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭ “Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.” Ephesians‬ ‭4:15‬ ‭ “He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.” Ephesians‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭ “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” Colossians‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
