A Coat Of Many Colors.

“So when Joseph arrived, his brothers ripped off the beautiful robe he was wearing.” Genesis‬ ‭37:23‬

‭The story of Joseph explains that his father gave him a coat of many colors, but his brothers were jealous that Joseph seemed to be their father's favorite. They decided they would sell Joesph put blood on his coat of many colors and tell their father he was killed. Later in the story, Joesph ends up being second in command, and they come to him for food, and he forgives them. I thought about this story in a new way today, sometimes when we are blessed others get jealous, thinking of us as God's favorite, in reality, God has no favorites. When you're being blessed others will often steal your coat of many colors, but have no fear because God will put you in second in command! God has got this, and there is no reason to worry about what others say because when God calls someone He doesn't ask for anyone else's opinion of you. Today, if you feel like everyone is trying to steal your blessing out of jealously then know that at the right time, God is going to take you and your life to the next level, God doesn't leave you out just because someone doesn't like that you're being blessed. Just like at the ending of the story the Bible says what the enemy meant for evil, God will turn it for good! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Then the brothers killed a young goat and dipped Joseph’s robe in its blood.”Genesis‬ ‭37:31‬ ‭ “Then Joseph added, “Look! You can see for yourselves, and so can my brother Benjamin, that I really am Joseph!” Genesis‬ ‭45:12‬ ‭ “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.” Genesis‬ ‭50:20‬ ‭ “No, don’t be afraid. I will continue to take care of you and your children.” So he reassured them by speaking kindly to them.” Genesis‬ ‭50:21‬ ‭
