Raining Down.
“The light from the sun was gone. And suddenly, the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn down the middle.” Luke 23:45
As I started to write a blog I had no idea what to write about today, I was confused as to what to even talk about, but the sound of the rain reminded me of a song. It talked about asking the Holy Spirit to rain down, we used to sing it in my church. I got to thinking about it and how we don't have to be in a church to find God and feel His spirit. You can feel His Spirit rain down on you anywhere. God is a God that sees and hears all, He doesn't have a certain four walls He stays in. Think of in the Bible they carried the ark of the convenient all the time, there was a veil that was around it in Jesus' day and only the priest could be with it. When Jesus died on the cross the veil tore and so did the space between us and God, we can now have on one conversations anywhere we want with God and feel His presence anywhere. Today, it doesn't matter if you're in the car, in the living-room, in your bed, in your closet, in your yard, in a church, or at work you can feel God exactly where you are. His Spirit can rain down anywhere that you're at. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom.” Mark 15:38 “the Tabernacle; the Ark of the Covenant; the Ark’s cover—the place of atonement; all the furnishings of the Tabernacle;” Exodus 31:7 “Place the Ark of the Covenant inside, and install the inner curtain to enclose the Ark within the Most Holy Place.” Exodus 40:3 “He took the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant and placed them inside the Ark. Then he attached the carrying poles to the Ark, and he set the Ark’s cover—the place of atonement—on top of it.”Exodus 40:20
