The Sun Will Shine Again.

“When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm.” Mark‬ ‭4:39‬ ‭

Weather the storm. Sometimes we get so caught up in trying to get through the storm that we forget to ask God what can we learn from this season. Not every season in life that we go through is easy, but we can learn something from each season. Instead of rushing through the storm, learn to dance in the rain. When we go through hard times, good times, and unsure times all of them are a lesson yet to be learned. Take the season you're in and find joy in it, you're going to see a new season soon. The good thing about God is that He never forgets us in the storm, just like the rain it always will stop and the sun will shine again. Whatever you face that might be difficult know that it too shall pass, joy will come into your life and you will be so glad you didn't give up. Today, dance in the rain, while you wait for the sun to shine again. God has got your back and nothing you go through will overcome you! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “The disciples were absolutely terrified. “Who is this man?” they asked each other. “Even the wind and waves obey him!”” Mark‬ ‭4:41‬ ‭ “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.” James‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭ “but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.” Luke‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭ “I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!” John‬ ‭15:11‬ ‭ “Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.” Romans‬ ‭12:12‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
